Fingerboard Placecards

Word of God
5.17 to 37 Mc
Sunday, February 13

Like the disciples had
gathered around Jesus on the mountain, he told them:
"Do not think I came
abolish the Law or the Prophets:
I am not come to abolish but to fulfill.

Amen, I say unto you, Before
heaven and earth disappear, not
a letter, not one little stroke
not disappear from the Law until all is accomplished.

So if you reject one
of these commandments, and teaches
others to do so, said
be the smallest in the kingdom of heaven.
But whoever does and teaches them will be declared
great in the kingdom of heaven.
I tell you the effect:
Unless your righteousness exceeds that
scribes and Pharisees,
you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
You have heard that it hath been said by them of old
You shall not commit murder,
and if somebody commits a murder,
be liable to court.
Well, I say unto you
Any man who gets angry against his brother
be liable to court.
If someone insults his brother will be liable to
grand council.
If anyone curses his brother
is liable to hell fire.

So when you are offering your gift at the altar, if
there, you remember that your brother
has something against you,
leave your gift there before the altar,
will first be reconciled to thy brother,
and then come and offer thy gift.

Jesus fulfills the Law, but what law? ... That of the scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites who imposes the burden of crippling rules and guilt they do not perform even themselves? ... There is only one Law, one of the "Washing of the Feet" (cf. Jn 13) where we see Jesus with the apron of the servant washing the feet of his disciples. To his disciples and thereby ourselves he said "This is an example I gives you, do the same ... "All Gospel is there, the Lord asks you: " What have you done with your brother? ... " Verily I say unto thee " what you did for one of these least brothers of mine, it's me that you did. " It does is no other law than that of Love!
