France Culture moved this summer series The Adventures of Mr. West in the Land of the safari, five one-hour programs to be broadcast every Sunday of August at 16 pm
Mr. West dialogue with his traveling companion and seeks to identify options from the word "safari", probably the best known African word of French. In Swahili, it means "journey" and since the late nineteenth century, accompanying exploration of colonial Africa, it means hunting expeditions carried out by Europeans.
In their investigation, they will be accompanied of taxidermists, historians, philosophers, ethologists, ecologists, but also as hunting guides or Lou Renaud Desgrées of Daniel Henriot.
